The Northern Medicinal Plant Collective is a community of herbalists, botanists, naturopathic doctors, culinary professionals, educators, and nature enthusiasts brought together by a shared respect for plants and their role in supporting health, well-being, and community. We were formed to share knowledge, encourage thoughtful exploration of natural medicine, and help people develop a deeper understanding of the plants growing around them. We believe meaningful plant education should be ethical, accessible, evidence-informed, and grounded in responsible practice. Through sound research, skilled instruction, hands-on learning, and respect for traditional and contemporary knowledge, we encourage competency and confidence at every stage of the learning journey. Whether you are discovering medicinal plants for the first time or building upon years of experience, the Collective provides opportunities for continued education, mentorship, collaboration, and community support. Above all, we believe knowledge grows stronger when it is shared. By bringing people together to learn from plants—and from one another—we hope to cultivate informed, responsible practices and a lasting connection between people, plants, and the communities we call home.
