One-on-one guidance can provide a supportive space to ask questions, build practical knowledge, and deepen your understanding of medicinal plants.
Materia Medica
Materia Medica comes from the Latin phrase meaning, ‘medical material’. The practice of documenting the medicinal uses of plants goes back 1,500 years. Each plant is designated to it’s own Materia Medical document which includes the botanical name, geographical origin, parts used, preparation methods, dosage information, safety considerations and cited sources. Documents may also include information such as indigenous uses, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda references, culinary uses, dyeing, farming, foraging and even veterinary uses!
