Donate
Your donation helps make medicinal plant education more accessible and strengthens the community that grows around it. Contributions support student scholarships, helping reduce financial barriers for those who want to learn, while also providing resources for special events that bring students, teachers, herbalists, and community members together. Every gift, no matter the size, helps create opportunities to share knowledge, build connections, and carry the traditions and responsible use of medicinal plants forward.
Membership
Become a member and take a more active role in our growing medicinal plant community. For just $50 per year, members receive early class registration and special discounts, advance notice of new plant postings and educational resources, and invitations to member and teacher conferences. Membership also gives you a voice in the cooperative, with opportunities to help plan courses, conferences, projects, and special events. Whether you are beginning your herbal journey or bringing years of experience, membership is a meaningful way to learn, connect, contribute, and help shape what we grow together.
Volunteer
Volunteering with Northern Medicinal Plant Cooperative offers a meaningful way to stay connected, continue learning, and give back to your community. Students learn from highly experienced teachers and may use their education to support their own personal relationship with medicinal plants, pursue further study, or bring their knowledge into service within their communities. Volunteers are an essential part of keeping this cycle of learning and sharing strong. By helping set up events and classes, welcoming and mentoring new students, and assisting with other community activities, volunteers gain hands-on experience while building relationships with others who share their interests. Volunteering provides an opportunity to deepen knowledge, develop practical and leadership skills, learn from experienced practitioners, and help make medicinal plant education more accessible to others. In this way, students can grow from learners into mentors, contributors, and community stewards who help carry knowledge forward.
